What was this Building used for?

Folks,

I visited this building yesterday.
It is in an area which was used as Ranges during WW2 and nearby are two buildings which look similar to Air Raid Shelters and were used as Soldiers Shelters when at the Range.

The building shown here is totally different.
There is some sort of hatch in the roof and there has been some form of pulley system inside the building as shown in my pictures.

The view from the front appears to be another Range however what was this building used for?

I believe Tank Destroyers practiced here and i wonder if this was an Ammunition store?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Was it somewhere were targets were raised and lowered?? - just a thought

The frame work against the back wall does look a bit like it was for raising / lowering tardgets.
Is the structure the only one or are there more similar buildings in a line?
The bank behind looks like the end of a range.
