The best part for me was the portion with the crew of the Moonstone. I also learned of the Blue Ensign

Didn’t catch it at the cinema so it’ll be just the TV for me.

As did I. It really captured the spirit of the event.

My sole criticism being the Guinness world record for the longest Spitfire glide.

Last episode with James Beck. Series was still good but never as good as the Beck episodes, in my opinion.

Indeed. Still funny, but, yes, just not the same. I think Talfryn Thomas (Private Cheeseman) was sort of a replacement for Beck but, for me anyway, it didn’t work as well. Not his fault, of course, you are always going to compare and he had a lot to live up to, but I just thought he didn’t quite fit.

Possibly the best episode so far. Equal to or even better than any hour of Band of Brothers.

    As you guys say, "Cracking!".

Not a very plausible script for this episode but still entertaining and Frank Gorshin did a real good job in a straight dramatic role

I've watched the first seven episodes on youtube so far. Pretty good. I have to use the CC closed caption button

So marvellously over the top, Frank will forever be THE Riddler.

I think a couple of Rat Patrol writers wondered into the wrong meeting that week. :)
