Okay lads and lasses, let's have a Air quiz to rival the others, and let the Goering thread carry on as it is for now. (Ooh, I love this power!)

I'll kick it off. What is this? And for a bonus point what type is it associated with?

That's an armourer's bomb loading chart. Not sure what type of aircraft it's for though, knowing you it's probably the Mosquito though ;)

It is an Armourers chart, but not a Mossie (the bomb bay wasn't open and I couldn't get under it!). Consider the weights menitoned....

Wrong way mate. Spidge was closest.

If Spidge was close and Halifax is the wrong way, how about a Manchester?

The Manchester was my first thought, for the same reasons as Adrian, but I don't think that it could carry a 4,000 lb bomb so I'll go for the Short Stirling.

This is getting painful now. Not Stirling. If Manchester is close, and Lanc is even closer, it has to be...?

(I am being evil with this one)

Bingo! The wonderful Avro Lincoln just made it into WW22 by the skin of it's teeth. Taken at the RAF Cosford Museum's WW2 hangar. And here is the lady herself.
