I found one piece of metal from the line of TANNENBERG - it's east side of Estonia. there were great battle in 1944 (feb - sept). there were about 300000 russian troops against 80000 german and others nations troops.

i would like to know what is it? probably its a sight

its possible, that it belongs to some APC or tank, but which one?

Do you have any other shots showing it from a different angle? It almost looks like the front or rear mud guard assembly on a Sherman.

the helmet on the right side of the pic is german and there is a shovel head so my guess is the part is german or captured equipment

    I'm from Estonia.
I am interested in all kind of WWII stuff.
especially old battle positions and old stuff which is still on the ground :)

my favorite place to hang around is NE part of Estonia. there were very heavy battle in 1944 (FEB - AUG). and there are still lots of mines and other UXO's. but anyway, it is very nice to walk in the middle of old minefield :)

I am not crazy, it is just fun!!!

If he wants thrills, try driving in Houston during 5pm rush hour traffic. You talk about maniacs that would make a F1 Race look tame.
