I found one piece of metal from the line of TANNENBERG - it's east side of Estonia. there were great battle in 1944 (feb - sept). there were about 300000 russian troops against 80000 german and others nations troops. i would like to know what is it? probably its a sight its possible, that it belongs to some APC or tank, but which one? Do you have any other shots showing it from a different angle? It almost looks like the front or rear mud guard assembly on a Sherman.

I'm from Estonia. I am interested in all kind of WWII stuff. especially old battle positions and old stuff which is still on the ground my favorite place to hang around is NE part of Estonia. there were very heavy battle in 1944 (FEB - AUG). and there are still lots of mines and other UXO's. but anyway, it is very nice to walk in the middle of old minefield I am not crazy, it is just fun!!!
