What do you think?

    My father is looking out photos of when my grandfather was serving during the war, the question is whether or not I can display them, most were classified "top secret".

    There are pictures of the area right after they dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki and he also has images of the Japanese surrender.

    Do you think they would still be classified?

    Surely anything that is 'top secret' is still top secret? They must have been cleared to end up in his possession?

    Of course it all depends on how he ended up with them! We will probably never know.

    I'd assume it's all ok and they were released :)

    (always plead ignorance!)

    And if its bad news then I guess we will all read about it and you in the papers!!! what better way to get publicity for the forum?!

    I doubt it at this stage, havent these things all been published by now?
