Also it's very similar to Yorkshire Dragoons cap badge. British Yeomanry Badges Surely at least one member on here must have a book on buttons?
I haven't, I count rivets, not buttons ! Anything with a rose on it suggests Yorks or Lancs. Lancashire Yeomanry ?
