I've given up on Rude Mechanicals so now I'm reading Delaforce's With the Black Bull (history of the 11th Armoured Division in NW Europe).

Now reading Delaforce's The Battle of the Bulge. His writing style feels slightly peculiar for this type of book.

Reading this now. An interesting look at "cooperation" between the British and Americans as they prepared for D-Day.

Ugh... I finished Delaforce's Battle of the Bulge. Not very happy with it. At times I found the text was tedious, and the occasional oddness in his writing style bugged me.

On a more positive note, at home I am reading The Royal Canadian Armoured Corps: An Illustrated History, and it is both gorgeous and excellent. (It's too big to take with me on my bus to work.) I got it out of the library... it would cost a mint to own. edit: wait, I lie, there are some reasonably priced copies on abebooks!
