Wellington bomber R1374 150 squadron On 8 May 1941 this bomber was shot down while on a raid at St Nazaire and crashed on the edge of the small town of Pont St Martin in the Loire-Atlantique. On the 8 May 2011 there was a Commemoration of this together with that of Hampden AD750 which crashed four months earlier. A memorial to the crews was unveiled in the town square. Together with another researcher we found relatives of most of the two crews, but one eluded us and that was Flt Lt Frederick Henry Savage who was the pilot of the Wellington. In May 2016 a plaque is to be unveiled in the field where the Wellington crashed as part of a Chemin de Memoire in that area. I would love to find any relatives of Flt Lt Savage. I have his service history and know that he was with 98 Squadron at Nantes in 1940. Any help would be appreciated. Pat Harris
