    I took these 2009. All the crew baled-out from this aircraft before the crash.
    This is the Rowley Mile at Newmarket's Race course.

    11-12 February 1941

    99 Squadron
    Wellington IC T2888 LN-R
    Op. Bremen

    Took off from Newmarket. Abandoned and crashed at Stags Holt Elm, 5 miles south of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Sgt. Clough fell into water and drowned.
