    Details of the Wilhelmshaven raid of 16-17 January 1941 - Source The Bomber Command War Diaries - M. Middlebrook / C. Everitt

    81 aircraft attempted to follow up the successful raid of the previous night but fewer crews found the target. Wilhelmshaven reports only light damage with two people killed. 5 aircraft - 2 Wellingtons, 2 Whitley's and 1 Hampden lost.
