I watched by chance this episode & whilst not sure if WDYTYA features often in this forum, I felt that members would benefit from having the opportunity to watch it also. It parallels (to a degree) the story of someone I have researched at great length & whilst one has to read between the lines somewhat, it does show just how tightly wound, an individual could get based on their personal experiences & how close to the edge they had to live their lives in the after mouth of conflict. A tragic story but 1 can only speculate how many former soldiers could have been helped / saved if only authorities had payed a little bit more attention to the psychological damage that had been inflicted on these chaps. I remember it well - mainly for the 1940 content. I still think there is more to the mans death than was covered in the show. http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/books-films-tv-radio/27309-who-do-you-think-you-%5Buk-series%5D.html
