War record royal signals

    I have my dad's war record and one of the abbreviations is ROZKY I have looked on the army list but unable to find the date on the record was 1945

    Hi Tony,

    I think this is likely to be a draft recognition code for when he travelled overseas. The letters do not actually stand for anything in reality. Here is a thread where this was discussed before:

    Looks very much like a draft code. It is quite random and doesn't stand for anything. Several threads on this Forum cover this.

    Thank you for your help I can now go on to sort rest of record and send for war diaries
