Well , no-one going it seems!!

I had a good day in very hot weather.

Picked up some material to a 56th Recce veteran which will interest at least one of you... ;)

Unfortunately this year finances have prohibited me/us going, I am hoping that when I sort out my diary for next year I will be able to get down for at least one day (or two if I can sweet talk Mrs ABE!) ....

Hope to see some pics soon then!

    Regards

    Andy

Not going this year, in fact have not been to the new location as it's even further away from where most of us live! Has it improved since the relocation: we were getting tired of the samey stereotypical battles and the increasing load of tacky stuff being sold. I guess I'm hoping to be persuaded to visit next year. Any thoughts?

Rather boringly... prices for entry have shot up markedly and for what is (for me) a day out shopping... is money towards Cigny now!

I went to War and Peace Revival on the 17th of July this year and I can honestly say it was one of the best events I have been to in my life!
I have linked a Youtube video if you wish to see what it was like. I would strongly recommend this event to anyone interested in military vehicles, re-enactments and buying stuff! There are at least two fields full of people selling military stuff like: Civilian clothing, soldiers uniforms, helmets, ammunition, shell casings, bayonets and guns!

Personally I prefer it at the current location having been going to the show off and on since the 80s. It's better access with better facilities and food much better.

Sounds like a 'must visit next year 2015'.
