I note the entry in WOC List No1 regarding Corporal Thomas Priday,claimed to be the first British soldier killed in action on 9 December 1939. I recollect that the ATB magazine related the events of his death some time ago...now buried at Luttange Communal Cemetery,Moselle. Interesting package of information with a story behind each entry.
Hello Geoff, Yes it was a small one published on Wednesday 20 September 1939 (I have at least the first 5 (possibly more, which I can post) I have put the first one here but I may move the RAF to a different Thread if I can find enough of them ,if thats okay? The RAF lists have service numbers as do the Navy. Kyle
