War memorials in the Salisbury Cathedral - images now sorted

    During a recent visit to Salisbury, I made an attempt to document some of the war memorials in the Cathedral, presented below.

    The combination of original photo quality and the thumbnail format doesn't do the beautiful stained glass windows any justice at all. Orignal photos of full windows (which are of acceptable quality) will be sent on request.

    Thank you for posting your photographs taken inside Salisbury Cathedral.
    I've never seen the stained glass window dedicated to the Glider Pilot Regiment. It looks beautiful.

    My father (first on the left shown in my Avatar) thankfully returned home safely from Operation Varsity 24.03.45.

    I am mindful of all those who lost their lives during WW2 who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
