Great video. Anyone who hasn't seen War Horse should be forewarned, however - I think the tank is on screen for all of 30 seconds. Best, Alan c.$/£1000 a second, as I think they said it cost a quarter million to make. Bargain! Wonder what Bovington paid for it. I'm guessing not much. Expect to see a decent WW1 tank mock-up doing more Film/TV work in the future... Also wondering how these chaps are getting on: Projects - Friends of the Lincoln Tank I'd thought they were wanting to build a complete replica one day (maybe like that detailed A7v copy built by the original manufacturers), but it seems MDF is the material of choice, at least for some display/fundraising sponsons, so I'm not sure. Anybody a member? Can't seem to find my shots of the Cent WW1 conversion, that was previously the best job I'd seen.
There is also this mock-up which I filmed on an old mobile at Cambrai in 2007: Cambrai 1917 - 2007 - YouTube
