    Hi Mark,

From Bill de Bass's web site.

Not of WW2 but there is a War Grave in Oman from a modern conflict there.

    See http://www.55fst-ramc.org.uk/front%20pages/FP_DOCUMENTS/DOCUMENTS_DATA/VT-Jebel%20AKHDAR/Jebel-Akhdar-Webpages/VT-JA-venom-engine.htm

    and

    see http://www.55fst-ramc.org.uk/front%20pages/FP_DOCUMENTS/DOCUMENTS_DATA/VT-Jebel%20AKHDAR/Jebel-Akhdar-Webpages/VT-JA-pilot-tomb.htm

The Pilots body was placed in a tomb with care and reverence by local tribesman.

Yet another corner of a foreign field forever England.

    Regards, Mick D.

Yonks ago I read a document that mentioned the burial of a WW2 RAF officer in Dubai - the grave was subsequently lost.

I am pretty sure that Googling "World War Two Plane Crashes in the UAE" will get you the article.

(I have a very slow internet connection during the week when I'm away from home - no room to download largish files)

    Then there is this:
