Peter have emailed Geoff ref Sessenheim but it doesnt look like hes got those so would be grateful if you could get them. I know hes been really busy the last few weeks. If you see any Kiwi airman on your travels could you let me have them for my thread. Bless your cotton socks.:)

    COMPLETED

ROBSON, PHILLIP ALLAN 418571 12/06/1944 Coll. grave 1-6. AUTHEUIL COMMUNAL CEMETERY Eure

    Greetings,

First time poster, first time reader...

Can I take this as someone has already photographed this grave? If so my family would like a copy if possible. My great uncle perished over France and I've spent the last two years digging up as much info on him as I could. Pretty sure I've even located his crash site using Google Earth. Thanks for reading.

    Cheers,

    Adam

    Hi Geoff,

Thank you very much for the info and photos, will add it all to the collection (you can never have enough), I'm so glad I finally have a photo of his grave. According to the correspondence between my great grandfather and the RAAF a photo of the grave had been sent to the family, sadly I've never been able to locate it, all that remains of my great uncles possessions is an old spring loaded knife. I'm very happy that I've found this site as I've had very little luck elsewhere. I've attached an extract from my great uncles war record from the National Archives of Australia, it contains a little more detail for anyone else who may happen to look here. Again thank you!

    Cheers,

    Adam

You have got to be joking!

I was born there - Small world!

Are you living in Ivanhoe now?

I always liked the name for a girl and so my oldest daughter is named Airlie.

It is a small world! My mother, brother and I were all born there, pretty sure we were all delivered by the same Gynecologist too. Yes, I am currently living in Ivanhoe.

Should I start a thread dedicated to this aircraft? As I have collected quite a lot of information, who know it may help someone else...

    Hi Adam,

I was thinking the same thing last night that it needs to be in the "War in the Air" thread as many members do not look at photo request threads.

I can / you can get the Mods to transfer the posts from here once you have started the thread.

    Cheers

ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOS IN FRANCE ARE NOW COMPLETE!

I have just fully edited my requirements in France. From the initial 655, I now require just 54.

If you can assist I would be most appreciative.
