    Hello,
I am hoping that there may be some kind people out there who may be able to visit these cemeteries and photograph headstones for me. If time is pressing, I would be more than happy to receive whatever you can offer, even a general photograph of the cemetery.

    Many thanks,
    dbf

Those photos which have been received will be highlighted in green

Hello mate, I can nip into the Botley cemetery on my way home this evening. I have my camera with me - presumably shots of the grave, headstone and general locale are required?

    Hi CS,

Thanks for the offer, you're like me, never leave house without mine...

Yes please and would you look out for any other IG next to him? Although I have 3 Bn list completed, 2Bn isn't. Doubtful that there would be others, but just in case, would you mind? Would hate to have to ask again.

    Hello,

This should now be my completed wish list for UK photos. Details include men from both the 2nd and 3rd Battalions Irish Guards. If anyone can take the time to snap a few pics for me, I would be very grateful.

    Many thanks,

    Hello DBF,

These are the photos from Botley Cemetery here in Oxford of Lance Corporal Vernede's grave. There are no other IG in the cemetery that I could see on a quick scoot around, although there is the grave of a Lt.Seale RUR and RI Fusileers (airborne) 01/06/44.

He is buried between Capt Flanner and a Greek soldier, on his left. A nice cemetery but very noisy due to the A34 next door.

    Hope this fits the bill,

Yes, Andy, very close. One bus from railway station 1.5 miles west, cemetery is about 300 yards from nearest bus-stop. If you are definately coming then I will get bus numbers/times etc. I can always go back and get more photos if needed.
