Liverpool-West Derby Row 6 RC Grave 519 Joyce 3653210 AAC 17/9/1944 Andy, found this lad. Very well tended and still missed 60 years later.....
Ive noticed every time I do this. Whatever the weather, as soon as I got the camara out to take the pic comes out. !0 mins before this was taken it was stair rods. Kev
Kev Thanks for that, Appears to still be tended? Andy Yep the flowers although pastic looked quite new and the grave was well weeded and tidy. I guess its a family plot so probably well visited. I guess its a sad fact that a lot of these boys are disappearing out of living memory, I think after that the graves start to be neglected. Kev

Corporal Spratt and Private Park Blackburn Cemetery Corporal Spratt's headstone is weathering badly, I'd give it a clean but I don't want to do more harm than good, some of the lettering is very faint and the stains at the bottom are deeply ingrained. Any ideas? Rgds Pete
