I had not come across this project before, so thanks for that.

If you leave Morter with me, I'll do it for you soon along with the general views.

    All the best - Robert

In a village called Eynsford, a couple of miles away from Brands Hatch motoring racing circuit. Sevenoaks to the south, Dartford to the east and Orpington to the West. Biggin Hill about 10 miles also.

I know of it....My Auntie lives in West Kingsdown.

ps Sorry for the Hijack Andy :)

Have been contacted by St Paulinhus Church at Crayford. The lady in the office kindly went to the churchyard to track the memorial down.

She found it and the monument is at Reference E.266. There were 2 references to JB Brown in their records. He would appear to be buried in the same plot as his Grandfather W Horgan in Plot Reference H50.2.

When I get a map with the exact location of both, I will go and check it out. If the grave relates to the same person as on the memorial, I will advise the CWGC, so they can update their records.

    Regards - Robert

I've got the map from St Paulinhus Crayford re the location of the Brown Special Memorial and the shared grave. As well as the headstone pic and the environs, would you like a copy of this as well?

When you list CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL do you mean the relatively recently dedicated memorial, which HRH Prince Philip revealed?
