Now I have got my act together I wonder if anyone is able to assist with pictures from the following cemeteries. Pictures of the headstones and a few general views of the cemetery would be appreciated.

Kranji War Cemetery (11) (Obtained Courtesty of neutrino WW1 forum)

If anyone can assist I will forward details of the casualties

    Regards

    Andy

There are 229 RAAF lads registered in cemeteries and on memorials in Singapore. If you know of someone who might be able to assist with these photos I would be most appreciative.

    Hi Guys,
I went to Singapore last year and have several general photos of the Cemetery if you are interested - nobody specific I'm afraid.

Anything is better than nothing!!!. If you could send them to my normal email account (the ntlworld one) I would be most grateful. I will have to try and persuade my friend, who is thinking of going over later in the year, to visit !

    Thanks in advance

I am looking for a chap named Halford, RR who is on column 458. He was 356 Sqn. I would also welcome general photos. Thanks.

Folks, there are 268 images from Kranji. I havnt been through them to see how many are individual HEadstones, but you will certainly get general images on there

There is also this memorial roll if people haven't seen it.
Robert Reginald Halford is the chap I am looking for.

I would enjoy seeing your pics Rob, even if they are general in nature.

    Thanks.

Just looked at these pictures and they are wonderful.

Wonder if we should start a thread with sites that are on Flickr. That would be useful to many researchers.

Phil I had a quick look but there was 327 pages:

I don't suppose you know if someone has taken a shot of this chap on the memorial?

Ref Post #15. A picture of James Brindley Nicolson's name. Column 445 in Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore.

    He's a VC holder.

Well, I have had a bit more luck in the Headstone field, and have found a girl in Singapore who is happy to photographs headstones at the Kranji War Cemetery. She has said that she will try to do any on the Memorial, but in her own words 'I am only small so may not be able to take them if they are high up'

    Well it made me chuckle.

So if anyone still needs images, send me a list and I will pull them all together and email them off
