Now I have got my act together I wonder if anyone is able to assist with pictures from the following cemeteries. Pictures of the headstones and a few general views of the cemetery would be appreciated. All Canada now complete for me! Regards Andy
There are 146 buried or memorialised in 47 cemeteries across the 10provinces of Canada. If you can assist in taking photos of the headstones/memorial or know of someone that can, I would be most appreciative. Cemeteries are too numerous to post here however please let me know your interest and I will forward the details.

I will see what I can do, if anything.
Hi MC, I do have photos of the 32 lads listed on the Ottawa memorial and a few others. For each listing of a cemetery name there is a burial headstone required. For example, there are five burials at Aylmer Cemetery. If you can assist, please let me know and I will forward the details. If you want to PM me with their details, I will work on it when I am down in that part of the province next summer. I do remember reading this list in another thread and think I said Exeter was an easy one, with London as well because I will be very close to those places. The others will become targets of opportunity. phil
Andy, My friend in Nanaimo said she'll do that one after Xmas, they got too much snow at present. Nanaimo Public Cemetery(also known as Bowen Cemetery)British Columbia Row 55A Grave 26N Erickson K/50799 RCIC 12/12/1945
I shoveled the driveway again for the second time and this is getting to be a bit much, even for a northerner. Thankfully, family travelling arrived safe and sound.
Miltary Cross - you are just not living right in Ontario - we even had a slight fall of snow yesterday in the Fraser Valley - Vancouver as always went into panic mode - didn't last though as it was very wet - the mountains are showing snow at the 2000 ft level - getting closer ! Cheers
oh, I don't think I will trade my snow for the many faults Vancouver sits on. Trail could find itself beachfront some day. Besides, I've just come in from playing with my snowblower and am off to bed with the expectation of hearing the plow go by before I can get out in the morning. Oh joy, oh joy. Spelling -- two eyes in my name, like most of us have in our heads. Thanks. militarycross

Andy, I think my friend has contacted you already but here is Erikson anyway. EDIT, I'm a muppet , she's already joined up & added pics to an album on her profile. Doh! http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/members/jeanieology.html
Toronto (Prospect) Cemetery Ontario Naval and Military Plot Sec. 1 Grave 457 Dew B/159428 30/8/1942 Andy, This one is close to me. I'll try and drop by and take those pics sometime next week. We here in Toronto are out from under winter snows now. Phil and Tom will take another week or so to thaw out!! Actually, the first outdoor soccer (fitba) tournaments are on for the kid this weekend. We have an Aylmer in both Ontario and Quebec. Do you know which province? Tim

Doh! http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/members/jeanieology.html Owen She did indeed and I tried to reply but I failed miserably, so could you thank her for me! Excellent pictures, but I have wondered as to why the headstones are laid down. Would have replied earlier but only got back from Holland late last night Regards Andy Andy

Andy, I believe this is what you were looking for. Can you supply any details on this young soldier? There is an obvious difference in the year shown on the headstone. I'm hoping that because of the late winter, the cemetery is behind in it's cleanup schedule. I was quite shocked by the lack of maintenance and the generally poor condition of any of the graves. I've now got a reason to go back later in the summer.
