    Like others, I have found quite a few headstone photos that have been posted on various sites. I thought it might be a good idea to post links to places I have found that provide free access to photos. Let's see where this takes us.

    Firstly a link to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to find the casualty you are looking for:-

    :: CWGC ::

    Secondly a link to a site where you can see what cemeteries are in each country. Scroll down the page and they are listed on the left hand side in blue.

    CWGC Project

    and finally a link to Geoff's Wonderful Search Engine where you can search for casualties on CWGC in a far superior way.

    Here is a set on Flikr with one of the more better known places.

    Arnhem (Oosterbeek) War Cemetery.

    CWGC Oosterbeek - a set on Flickr

    They don't all have names, so it will involve a trawl looking for the one you may have found using the CWGC database.

    Many graves in Scotland are covered by "The Scottish War Graves Project" and hosted online for all to see.

    Thanks to that site I've found a lot of Royal Artillery photos there. I've noticed a few of this Forums names on there looking as well.:D

    Good idea to start this thread, Rob. Perhaps it is also an idea to start a thread where everybody from this forum can post a list of cemeteries he or she has completed?
