As Stephen mentioned its in a lot better condition than some you will see in England. I do get the feeling that unless someone is looking out for them they get forgotten, especially if no-one visits them.

After the sucess of obtaining a photograph of the headstone for Dennis Bailey, I have been today updating my research, and whilst I hope that I can add to this from the local newspaper archives, here is what it looks like to date.

Cheers Chris, I had an email from my contact who did the initial clearance and took the photo. He was going to go back the next day better prepared to clean the grave up, but two americans in his hotel got held up at gunpoint 100 yds from where he was at the cemetery, so he has moved on. The country is still in a bit of a mess, so I am not holding out much hope, but will drop them an email

Got in touch with some Honduran friends at CatrachoWings.com™ ®, specifically Jorge Doblado (Jaldo) and he said you can contact them to set-up the operation.

Try the "contacto" feature on the main menu.

    Phil,
I must have missed something regarding service dates.

Dennis died post war and in the memorial it says he was the youngest Widnes serving casualty of WW2.

    Can you please clarify.

    Regards
    Tom
