war diary help please

    Hello,

    Would anyone have the war diary for this chaps date of death? I'd like to know what happened, he was one of 13 brothers ( I am told ) that were killed, however find it hard to believe

    It's very unlikely he will be mentioned by name in a WWI war diary but it might record something like "3 o/rs killed in shelling".

    The National Archives reference for the war diary is:
    WO 95/2887 1/4 Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment 1915 May - Dec

    in case no one has it and you'd like a copy.
