I am looking for the War Diary of 2 Dog Platoon from May 1945 - October 1945, (WO/171/5377) but especially for august 1945. It seems that on the 13th August members of this platoon attended a funeral of a civilian mine-clearer in DIEPENVEEN in the Netherlands. The men was killed on 8th August 1945 by a German Riegelmine.
Another possibility s that it where members of 66 Field Coy R.E. But there is no War diary of this unit for 1945.
