For those who are interested, I have just posted the War Diaries for K Battery Royal Horse Artillery for 1940 and 1943 to 1945, plus a list of Officers for the Battery.

I have not used the title 'Hondeghem' in the post as the Battery was not awarded it until the 1950s.

The posts include the Battery War Diaries for April to September 1940, plus an account of the Hondeghem engagement, the Battery History for 1942 to 1943, and the contents of a notebook from Major D K Wells, RHA, that details the list of Officers for most of the war and a high level diary listing the events and places the Battery was at.

I may need to refine one or two pages and get about some that are missing. I do hope it will prove useful and I must thank the modern day Battery for allowing me access to these records, as the National Archives have nothing on the Battery!

You can find the War Diaries for K Battery Royal Horse Artillery for 1940 and 1943 to 1945 via this link.

    Happy reading.
