    Hello,
I used to read Battle, Commando, Warlord and
all these as a kid. It sparked my interest in WW2.
Recently Garth Ennis has done a series called Battlefields
    Which are worth checking out.
    Best wishes,
    Al

From a colleague in the RAF I have been recommended a WW II comic character by the name of Percy Prew. These comics are supposed to be very educational and to some extent, still valid.

Have searched for the name to no avail. Maybe got the spelling wrong. :blush:Anybody any clue ?

I'm a huge fan of Garth Ennis's war comics, Battlefields is a good series & so is his revamp of 'Enemy Ace' Hans Von Hammer flying a ME-109 and later a 262 (both painted red). Fantastic stuff.

He also redid Battler Briton another great title brought into the 21st century. I get the impression Garth Ennis is a closet history buff who doubles as a comic book writer.
