    Hi all

I am researching information on Walker Kingswood Eccles 1794484 of Oldham a Gunner serving in the Royal Artillery, 236 Bty, 78th Light AA Regt, who was killed in action on 14th October 1942 and is buried in Ranchi War cemetery.

Could anyone advise what may have been going on around the time of his death please or any other information please

    Many thanks

    David,
His casualty card lists gastroenteritis as cause of death.
