Villers Bocage Where is Point 213?

I'm looking for the exact location Michael Wittmann’s starting position near Villers-Bocage and Point 213.
There are various references I've found that put the location of Wittmann's starting point behind the power station on current route D475 and Montbrocq. The shelter for the Tiger Tanks was nearby in the field behind.

Point 213 is further east on D475 but I've seen various locations cited including at D475 and D217, and further along D475 at Le Bay des Landis.

Can someone familiar with the battle and the local geography set the record straight and confirm.

The google map below has tags on the locations cited. Thanks.

I've narrowed this down further and it appears Point 213 may be closer to the old road to Villy Bocage that is now blocked by the highway A84. The shelter where the Tigers were is behind the power station.

If anyone with local knowledge could confirm that would be much appreciated.

Point 213 is the one labelled 'Point 213', not 'Hill 213'.

If you go into streetview you'll see it's the top of the hill with some masts near those tanks. Go a bit further towards Caen and you get a fantastic view out along the road - you can see why it was an objective.

Thanks. I think my 2nd post has 213 in the right spot by the towers. Have I got the Tiger Shelter in the right spot behind the electric station and where Wittmann turned to Villers Bocage?

'Pt. xxx' is just a height. It is the local measurement and can be found on any map with contour lines.

I don't personally know anything, but in Daniel Taylor's Villers Bocage Through the Lens book, these are the locations of Les Hauts Vents and La Ciderie and Point 213, using the 1947/modern comparison aerial photos. His text reads "After the second move, Wittmann positioned his six Tigers next to the track, originally the old road to Caen, running 200 meters to the south of the RN 175, near to a farm called La Ciderie. The family living at Les Hauts Vents had two of the Tigers parked practically outside their farm."

Les Haus Vents is mentioned as Wittmann's Commmand Post that night. I think his Tiger and the other were out front there.

as for the rest I think you could be right.
