Victor Fortune , the GOC of the 51st Highland Division in 1940 , served in The Great War in 1st Bn The Black Watch as Adjutant in 1914 and then as CO from September 1916. Has anyone their History and if so how often does he get a mention? Did he continue as their CO until the Armistice? Is there a photo of him from that time? A brief resume of actions he was involved in would also be good thanks.
