Further to my Red Arrows pics, this is the real reason we ventured down to see the airshow.... very sinister and very cold war!

Lovely pics, must get a better camera!!!. I went down to Bournemouth on Saturday for the same reason, although the BBMF, B17 and The Reds are reason enough. I haven't seen a Vulcan in flight since an airshow at Southend in the late 1970s (I think). That first purring pass was a joy to behold and when the nose pointed upward and the afterburner kicked in the day was made.

Great photographs of a wonderful aircraft. I know one member will be really pleased to see them!

Used to see them regularly over 'Woodford' on test flights

the most sinister Aircraft of those Days and even now is the Futuristic V Bomber the 'VICTOR' , what a shape , considering its predecessor was the WW2 Halifax , what a Quantum leap that was !
