Hi all, Just got back from the pictures, took my two eldest boys and their two mates. I think you forget what it was like to be a child sometimes...dam I'm sounding like my Dad know and I said I never go there. The journey to the cinema is only ten minutes, but it was a real eye opener in to my kids ever growing vocabulary Everthing was Class man, Cool man, Aston Martin, Porshe, Audi TT (these were all going to be their first cars), Dad faster, Dad turn the music up and then them debating who was going to go out with Gemma when they get back to school, hhmmm I wonder if Gemma's got a say in this...I must be getting old By the way the film was great it's loosely based on the pigeon service during WW2, worth while a look. Quite an interesting fact at the end about the Dickins Medal the VC for animals: Between 1943 and 1949 PDSA awarded 54 Dickin Medals: 32 pigeons, 18 dogs, three horses and one cat - "Simon" the mascot of HMS Amethyst during the Yangtze Incident in 1949 - received the Medal for displaying conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty while serving with the Armed Forces or Civil Defence units during World War II and its aftermath. Like I said worth a look Regards Kieron
Sappernz, I think the RSPCA may have something to say about that Here is a link to the latest awarded Dickin's Medal. Springer Spaneil Cheers Kieron
