Hi Everyone, I'm currently researching the fate of B-24J Liberator 'Worry Bird' damaged by flak over a V1 launch site described by the navigator as 'Haute de Cote' in northern France. Googling on this name doesn't pinpoint the location so I wondered if anyone on the forum knows where this launch site might be. The aircraft limped back safely to an airfield at Woodchurch in Kent but with a dead pilot and tail gunner. Gary Samson Canterbury, Kent

Yes, that's it exactly, Spidge. Thanks. Hautecote was the secondary target, another site at nearby Blangermont (spelled Blanchemont on a transcription of the mission report) was the primary. Cheers Gary
