Thanks Owen. Built in 1953 used until 1956 when laid up in reserve in Japan. Taken out of reserve and used in Vietnam 1960s up to 1971, renumber as HQ 547 when given/sold to South Vietnam . So looks like photos could be Vietnam, unless it was in Korea 1953-56 as it ended up in Japan in 1956. Anyone ID the uniforms. Keith
I'd say photo from 50s as this chap seems to have a M1 Garand, just see foresight on muzzle , whereas if early in Vietnam he'd have an M14 , foresight further back.
