I know that this forum addresses mainly WW2 British and Commonwealth topics but I found this book quite intriguing. It shows the inner life of a US Airborne Divison before it went to Europe and into action. Amazing to look into the faces! And the various activities seemed to be aimed at creating a close-knit formation and esprit-de-corps. And that is what this book seems to do, too. It reminds me of US college yearbooks and clearly follows that style and tradition. I also love the layout and the cartoons... 17th Airborne Division (bpl.lib.me.us)
