Clive, than you so much for hunting him down. Like so many it can be so easily missed when the wording is on a kerb edge.

I have reported lots of cases of words/letters missing or totally unreadable, but nothing ever seems to get done.

Alas not hutchie, but thanks for the offer. Maybe if you can take photos in those areas you could make the same offer to everyone to see if anyone else has any wants up there.

Shame I didn't know about the Tower Hill ones as I was up in London middle of November and visited the Memorial to get a pic of one of my local war memorial chaps who has finally been put on to it .... having said that 433 names on 107 ships might have been a long shot as I only had my phone with me, and by the time I came out of the pub it was almost dusk!

If you want to email me the names/ships I will try and get them (or some) next time I am up there visiting

    Regards
    Andy

temptage I thought it would only take a few weeks......

Im not expecting a photo of every single individual name, but if a pic of each ships crew was taken, I am more than happy to do the dirty work and sort the individual names out by myself. Im kind like that!

Just a photo of the crew of each ship would suffice, as I am totally prepared to do some of the dirty work myself! Yes honestly! Tis the season to be jolly and all that lol

Its a once only, never to be repeated, closing down, BOGOF offer

Clive, thank you for suggesting it but that was my very first port of call, for want of a phrase, when having a look for panel photos from Tower Hill. There seems to be very few photos available from there when making a search on the internet, and of those that are online, none ofthem are for any of my ships! Typical

    Thanks again Clive

Getting there slowly and surely. Only 7 to go now.

Another one bites the dust. Mortlake Crematorium crossed off thanks to Clive (CL1)

Realistically there are only 4 that I can get from the list in the near future as Cottingham one is waiting for a stone to be erected and the 1914-18 Memorial one will be added to a memorial as and when the CWGC get on to it.
