Hello friends. I recently discovered an old sub machinegun that I was told was a Bergmann and used by the Germans in WW2. I cannot find any info on the web about this neat old firearm and wondered if anyone knew what it might be. There are no markings on it other than Cal.9 L on the bracket that the clip mounts into. The barrel and bolt have been welded as I was told that this is what had to be done in order for it to be shipped to the US. Any help would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
Thats a EMP Erma, German submachingun chambered in 9mm. The French Army and the Waffen-SS used them. Good find! Modern Firearms - EMP.35 Erma
