    BAOC also operated the Mosquito & Liberator flights from Sweden to UK

    Hi,

    I had no prior knowledge of RAF Ferry Command but there was a documentary on American PBS Channel on Sky about 3 weeks ago regarding it's creation and the good work it did flying aircraft across the North Atlantic before the United States entered the was.

    I think it was produced by the son of Ferry Command pilot who flew Churchill to Egypt in summer 1942 and onto Moscow via Iraq.

    His father was still alive and was featured in the programme but his name escapes me.

    There were passing references to casualties in the programme.
