two fighter bombers tried to hit the railway line near Ochsenhausen, flying pretty low, but still missing the line and the railway station.
Unfortunately destroying houses and farms only 50 yard away and killing 5 people, one of them a 6 year old boy having evacuated the destroyed city ofCologne.

I am assuming the bombers were from the US Airforce I wonder if any archives in the US have this bombing registered.

Ochsenhausen wasn´t the sole village who suffered these days. In my Hometown it caused 87 dead and levelled parts of downtown.
The railway bridges were just secondary targets but entirely missed
