    Afternoon ladies & gentlemen..

can anyone shed some light on the origin / regiment of this vehicle pennant. It might have something to do with the 11th Hussars during WW2 or more proberbly one of the post war Yeomanry regiments.

    what can you tell me?

For starters, go have a look at Peter G's comprehensive site.

No guarantees, but this is well worth looking at first..

    Thanks Ron

    Tried there but no joy.

Then tried looking at heraldic sites. By deduction ive established that the bird is a probably a Raven.

As the raven collects bright objects, it symbolizes knowledge, also Divine Providence, and one who has become the architect of his own fortunes, a nature of enduring constancy
The hunting horn represents, strength and fortitude.

A fitting pennant for the commander of a Recce patrol?

    Perhaps.

It came from a chap who commanded this lot, but the penants shown are all kent invicta's.
