Can anyone identify this airfield. I think it is RNAS Hinstock, otherwise known as HMS Godwit in Shropshire, but I'm not sure.

It's an interesting maintenance picture, I can identify 7 of the nine aircraft 2 Seafires (I think since its RNAS), 2 Barracudas, 1 Corsair, 1 Hurricane, 1 Wildcat (Martlet) and maybe another lurking.

I was round at the airfield last week but couldn't locate the position of the shot but did notice that there are several of the curved hangers still painted black.

    Hi.
I have seen this picture somewhere before, I think you will find that it was taken at RNAS Henstridge (HMS Dipper) No 2 fighter school. regards Ranger

    Yep nearly right I think,

Seafire (cant tell what mark, cannon armed)
    Corsair
    Martlet
    Barracuda x2

I think the aircraft directly opposite with the yellow spinner may be a sea hurricane , juding by the thick wings, starboard landing light and wide undercarrige.
