Uniform query - National Fire Service?

    I've got this old photo of my great aunt, I know she was a member of the National Fire Service during the war so I assume that's the uniform she's wearing. I'm rubbish when it comes to this sort of thing though, so I'm hoping someone can give me a second opinion? Cheers!

    Looks like. The round badge could well be the NFS badge as it appears to be the right size and shape too.

    good day paulc m.yesterday.07:50pm.re:uniform querry-national fire service,?i was around then.use to see a lot of N.F.S men fighting blitz fires.i never saw women in firemens uniform.ats,arp.air force and others, they would have been a support group.if the badge was round or similar.and the letering red.n.f.s.then that would be her uniform.hope it helps regards bernard85
