trying to obtain a service

    hello all.I am new to this forum and would like some advice.How would i go about getting a copy of my grandfathers service record? his details are here-

    In case you might like to take a look at the 157 Fd Amb war diary, here's the reference to it at National Archives:

    WO 177/742 157 Field Ambulance 1944 Aug.- 1946 Apr.

    No you cant, but Lee above and and other person on this site go there and for a fee can get them for you, or you can go there yourself.
