I've got this photo here, grandad was in the bottom right. I have other photos of his units and I recognize two of the men in them in this photo, so it's a military related photo. Any insight on what it is?

My absolute stab in the dark is that the men could be medical orderlies without their distinctive overgarment.

Certainly could be barking up the wrong tree.

I tend to agree with CF. They look untidily dressed as well.

Just a similar line of thought- if you know the men and their units? Do you know if they were wounded at all. Could possibly be clothes worn whilst convalescing?

    Are they British or American?

I think the men are patients, have received treatment for their injuries, and probably about ready to leave some kind of medical [field] hospital.

The guy on the left is definitely wearing someone else's trousers, and possibly only has slippers on his feet.

Maybe salvaged clothes given to men who were leaving the hospital.
