Thank you so much for the information. So would i have to access the regiment diaries to determine where he may have been when with one of them regiments? Eg with 205 Anti-Aircraft Z Bty 13 Anti-Aircraft Z Regt. Or does 13 tell me he would have been in the North West as per the link? thanks again
This tells you that during his time with 13 AA Z Regt he would have been in the North West as per the link, unfortunately it wont tell you when he was with them, it may have only be a few days or weeks. This information can only be found from his service records which are more informative than the tracer card. His records are only available from the MOD via the forms in this link - Request records of deceased service personnel once you have them they will tell you when and therefore how long he was in each unit which would allow you to then zero in on the specific Regimental War Diaries you would need rather than using a scatter TD
