    Hi,

    I’d guess it is the unveiling of a post WW1 memorial at a coastal location. If you could make out the cap badge - it will likely be a county regiment - it would be a big clue.

    You may be better posting this one on GWF?

    There is only one kilted officer which might suggest that he is a local dignitary who served in a kilted regiment; That isn't a Union flag on one side ? Could it be Canada perhaps ?

    Looks spot on to me Owen cheers, I have been picking these photos up from the same house clearance guy as last week's photo. Cheers

    I think I can make out the white “helmets” of the Marine detachment on the far side of the monument ?
