    I showed the patches to a dealer today and he said he would give me £10 for the lot as they are common, I kindly refused the offer.

    Rightly so! This dealer is a crook or does not know his business! See also direct mail/message I just sent...

    Perhaps he does know his businees and is trying to make as much profit as he can, after all it is only an offer, you or in this case vespa doesn't have to accept the offer.

    To my opinion a dealer when buying should pay an honest price, which of course will be well below sales price because he also needs to make a living. However when knowing his business and offering less than 5% of the actual value to my opinion he is a crook!

    For anyone interested in British Army badges see attached photo (posted before in thread "Favorite items in your WW2 collection") with a collection of army badges of the BLA in NW Europe in 1944-1945 (including 56th Infantry Brigade)...
