Today’s carboot finds

    Some nice treasures in there. I've often thought about visiting car boots and the like, but I've already got a room full of militaria and really need to trim down.

    The second gentleman is Pte W,G - Wilson regt number 204565 if the royal Welsh Fus

    Sadly both TD. You know, just as I read vespa's info about the two medals, I thought TD will be along any minute to assist in identifying these gents. And lo and behold, here you are.:salut:

    There's also a Captains shoulder boards, both named men are shown as Privates.
    Also looks to be a Royal Artillery comrades? badge ("Ubique" and "xxxx xxxx Association") so one or more other avenues to explore - but perhaps explains the nose cone.....
    Too slow, must be using the same machine as in the background

    So, Norfolk Reg't connection, RAA and a tank badge?

    Cheers Kevin most of the buttons are Royal Artillery as well just a interesting box of mixed bits

    Hi,

    Wilson BWM only suggests service in India only?

    1st RWF posted to India post WW1 so he may also have GSM for NWF/Waziristan?

    Not sure he was in India - his mates on the same page are noted as India, but he isn't - could he have stayed in the UK during, would that give the same result?
